Jan 10, 2019 Hi, Im trying to reinstall El CApitan on my 2008 iMac and i get errors. Namely, 'this item is temporarily unavaiable' and sometimes 'this boot disk is corrupt'. I formatted my usb drive in order to get around the corrupt message. However I dont know where I can get legitimate usb image of El. Install the macOS installer
Double-click the downloaded file to open a window showing its contents. Then double-click the file within, named InstallMacOSX.pkg.

Begin installation
