Teamviewer remote access. Oct 22, 2018  Now when my mac is asleep, I see the power button next to it in the teamviewer console, but pressing it, doesnt wake my mac. Whats weird, is that I used to have a Mac Mini (up until last week), and It used to go to sleep and I dont recall having to jump through any of these hoops to make it available in TeamViewer. Can anyone help me set up remote access so I can wake up a sleeping mac and access my work desktop remotley from my phone or other laptop? The sleeping mac is an imac desktop running 10.11.3, 4GHz itel core i7, 32 GB. I want to be able to access it from one of 2 different macbook pros or iphones. TeamViewer’s Wake-on-LAN feature enables you to turn on a computer that is turned off or in sleep mode. This can be done via another computer within the same network or via its public address.
